00 PM Mountain Position Summary, Duties and Responsibilities POSITION PURPOSE:
This position is primarily responsible for on-court teaching and managing adult drills and lessons.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/
Responsibilities:
Teaches court tennis programming, including adult group and private lessons, and manages adult drills, junior development, and other tennis programs as needed.
Remains actively visible and engaged with staff and customers in the facility during open hours of operation.
Evening and weekend hours are required regularly.
Works with the head tennis professional, other tennis professionals, and staff members to develop and promote tennis activities, including marketing and promotions, special events, and program planning.
OTHER DUTIES/
Responsibilities:
Consistently provides superior customer service and strives to create a positive customer experience to promote ongoing and repeat business.
Works to resolve customer concerns and complaints.
Attends training sessions, workshops, staff meetings, and conferences as assigned.
Is an active member of the USPTA or USPTR and completes continuing education requirements.
Associate is expected to exhibit the district's core values of Honesty, Attitude, Loyalty, and Teamwork.
Job Qualifications KNOWLEDGE:
USPTA Professional or PTR certification preferred SKILLS:
NTRP rating of 4.
0 or above Operate a computer or printer using a variety of software applications ABILITIES:
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with other district staff and the public.
Ability to make sound decisions and use good judgment in stressful situations.
Education and Experience EDUCATION/FORMAL TRAINING:
High school diploma required.
Must have current CPR/AED/first aid certifications or the ability to obtain within 60 days.
Must possess a valid Colorado driver's license.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of tennis teaching experience, including group and private lessons, developmental programs, clinics, camps, and drills for participants of all ages and abilities or a combination of education and experience.
Work Environment WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Required to work outside when the weather permits play on the outdoor tennis courts.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
Must be able to push, pull, lift, or carry any items up to 50 lbs.

Must be proficient at feeding tennis balls to all ages and abilities.
