7K a year Position Purpose The City of Arvada operates West Woods Golf Course; this position is responsible for selling alcoholic beverages, non-alcoholic beverages and food on the 27-hole course in a warm, friendly and professional manner while exhibiting proper golf etiquette and safe driving.
Tip Eligible Position Job Functions / Scope of Authority ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Loads, restocks and unloads beverage cart daily Performs daily inventory and records any restocking of all products, both food and beverage Keeps carts clean and organized; Greets guests warmly and with a smile, proceeds with standard sales approach with suggestive selling and upselling; has thorough knowledge of food and beverage items available to the golfer; Maintains up to date knowledge of applicable liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management Utilizes Point of Sales system and creates daily sales reports and inventory reconciliation Incorporates safe work practices in job performance Reviews schedules for changes, calendar of events and course activities Maintains and exhibits knowledge of proper golf course etiquette Ability to work in inclement weather and variety of outdoor temperatures Attends required department meetings and training sessions Perform other duties as assigned ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Previous golf cart attendant experience preferred; Ability to communicate with others, ability to use good judgment; Strong math skills Ability to work independently, ability to maintain clean and neat appearance, ability to maintain adequate attendance, ability to follow instructions, Ability to work with a P.

Temporary, Variable Hour and Health Plan Eligible employees will earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum cap of 48 hours.
