Retail Sales Associate - Lake Arbor Store (80th & Wadsworth)

Retail Sales Associates are often the first point of contact at our retail stores and responsible for providing exceptional customer service greeting customers and responding to inquiries.
This role includes Cashiering duties, organizing and merchandising the sales floor and keeping product organized by following Goodwill standards.
Must be available weekends! Minimum Pay starts at $14.
50 per hour.

Qualifications:
oHigh school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
oOne year retail sales or cash handling experience desired.
oMust be accurate with numbers and general calculations and have an understanding of the value of different coins and US currency.
oMust be able to use basic math such as adding, subtracting, and multiplication.
oMust be able to operate a computer-based cash register and credit card machine.
oMust be able to withstand prolonged standing, bending and lifting up to eight (8) hours per day.
oMust be able to work a varied schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays with occasional overtime as necessary.
oMust be able to effectively communicate with customers, managers, supervisors, staff and peers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
oProvide excellent Customer Service upholding company values.
oProvide assistance to customers with questions, concerns, and purchases.
oProvide accurate cashier transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer using a computer-based point-of-sale system.
oMaintain a clean and organized sales floor by regularly cleaning and organizing shelves and racks, picking items up off the floor, putting away carts or baskets, putting away returned or unwanted items and cleaning fitting rooms.
oProvide a safe, organized, and well stocked sales floor to include the fitting rooms and coffee bar areas.
oCross-train in other departments or areas; act as a back-up for other areas as required.
oPerform all other duties as assigned.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
