We are a single doctor / single location private orthodontic practice.
We opened our doors in December 2020.
We are looking for a part time receptionist that is warm and welcoming to everyone that comes through our doors & someone that is comfortable creating and managing our social media pages.
This is a hybrid position as 80% of your time will be working as a receptionist and 20% will be creating content / posting on our social media page.
We are open to hiring someone that does not have the social media experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner - Answer phone calls in a warm, professional manner - Work with the owner orthodontist to plan, organize, and manage our practice social media posts and pages.
- Check for missed calls and text messages from the previous nights/weekends to ensure we are responding to all patient inquiries - Schedule appointments - Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary paperwork - Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation - Assist with medical administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning - Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flow - Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality - Provide excellent customer service and address patient concerns or complaints - All positions in the office are expected to help with the general maintenance and cleanliness of the office.
- All team members participate in 1 to 3 weekend marketing events per year (i.
e.
tabling event at local school events).
You will be paid for your time at these events.
Qualifications:
- Warm, welcoming personality - Interest in social media.
Comfortable creating content for social media posts.
- Comfortable with using Windows PC's and learning new software - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
